Guardian Product Installation Guide

Step 1: Unboxing and Identifying Components

1. Open the box and lay out all the components on a flat surface.

2. Cross-check the items with the checklist to ensure all are present:

   • 3 Movement Sensors (or more, based on the plan)

   • 1 Door Sensor

   • 1 SOS Button

   • 1 Temperature Sensor

   • 1 Hub

   • 1 Power Cable for the Hub

3. Familiarize yourself with each component.

Step 2: Install the Movement Sensors

1. Take the movement sensors and locate the entrances of key rooms in your home.

2. Install each sensor directly above the entrance inside the key room marked on the sensor.

3. Ensure the sensor is positioned to detect any movement entering the room:

   • Use adhesive provided in the packaging.

   • Test the positioning by walking into the room to confirm the sensor activates.

Step 3: Install the Door Sensor

1. Identify the main exit door of your home.

2. Install the door sensor as follows:

   • Attach one sensor piece to the door and the other piece to the door frame.

   • It doesn’t matter which piece goes where, but they must align next to each other when the door is closed.

3. Ensure the installation does not interfere with the door opening and closing.

   • Use adhesive strips provided for secure placement.

4. Test by opening and closing the door to ensure functionality.

Step 4: Power On the Hub

1. Take the hub and the provided power cable.

2. Plug the power cable into a wall socket.

3. Connect the hub to your modem using the USB port.

4. Verify that the hub powers on (a light indicator should confirm this).

Step 5: Log into the Guardian Dashboard

1. Open a browser and go to app.guardianhome.eu.

2. Log in using your credentials.

3. Verify that all installed sensors (movement sensors, door sensor, SOS button, and temperature sensor) are showing as active on the dashboard.

Callout: Safety Warnings

• Do not install sensors or the hub near water or damp environments.

• Avoid placing sensors in areas with extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.

• Ensure the power cable is not a tripping hazard and securely connected.
